We link to credit monitoring and credit repair services, checking accounts, and vehicle insurance, because getting banking, credit and a car sorted out is part of getting on your feet and knowing where to start is hard. Some of those companies pay us a commission when someone signs up through our link.
It never costs you more. The price is the same as going to them directly.
We are not their salesperson. We do not work for them, and they have no say in what the app tells you to do.
You are never required to use any of them. Every link is optional. The checklist works the same whether you click one or not.
A commission is not an endorsement. Read the terms before you sign up for anything financial.
If you would rather not use a link that pays us, go to the company directly. We will not treat your account differently either way.
We promised no ads and we mean it. There are no banners in this app, nothing follows you around the internet, and nobody pays us to put a message in front of you.
Affiliate links differ from advertising in a way that matters: an advertiser pays to be seen by you. We are only paid if you decide, on your own, to use a service. We choose which companies to list. They do not buy their way in.
We are still telling you plainly, because you deserve to know when money is involved.

Be careful with credit repair. People coming home are a common target for predatory credit repair operations. Under federal law, a credit repair organization generally may not charge you before it has actually performed services. If anyone asks for money up front to fix your credit, treat that as a warning sign.
Clicking an affiliate link may pass a referral identifier telling that company the visit came from Free and Forward, so they can pay the commission.
We do not send them your name, email, account information, checklist, resume, conviction history, or anything else from your account. Once you are on their site, their privacy policy governs, not ours.
If a company we list treats you badly, email info@freeandforward.com. We will look into it and remove them if it is warranted. That is a commitment we intend to keep.
