You can use Free and Forward for free. If you buy a tier it is a one-time purchase and it does not renew. We are not a government agency, not a lawyer, and not your supervision officer. This is a tool for keeping track of your own deadlines, and responsibility for meeting them stays yours.
These Terms are between you and Free and Forward LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. By creating an account or using the app or this website, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 years old.
Free and Forward is an organizational tool. It helps you track deadlines, store your own documents on your own device, build a resume, and record job applications. It is not a government service, not legal advice, not medical or mental health treatment, and not a guarantee of any outcome in employment, housing, benefits, or supervision.
The checklist is a helper, not an authority. The conditions of your release, your supervision requirements, and your court dates are set by the authorities responsible for them, not by this app. Always confirm dates and requirements with your officer, your attorney, or the court.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. If someone set up an account for you before your release, it becomes yours once you have the credentials, and we encourage you to change the password immediately. Whoever created it retains no special access.
Every paid tier is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews. There is no subscription. Free is $0 with no card and no time limit. Basic is $9.99 once. Plus is $24.99 once. Premium is $34.99 once and includes AI features. An AI credit refill is $9.99 once for 50 additional generations on a Premium account. If you own a lower tier and move up, you pay only the difference.
Purchases made inside the iOS or Android app are handled by Apple or Google and are subject to their refund policies; we cannot issue those refunds ourselves. Purchases made on this website are handled by our payment processor, so contact us and we will review the request. Prices may change for future purchases, but a price change never affects something you have already bought.
AI output is a draft, not a finished document. It can be wrong, incomplete, or awkward. Read everything before you send it to an employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit. Never let AI state something untrue about your record — misrepresenting your history to an employer can carry consequences far worse than an unpolished resume.
Each generation uses one credit from your balance. Credits do not expire. Using an AI feature transmits the relevant text to a third-party provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may impose reasonable limits to prevent abuse.
Listings come from employers that have publicly indicated they consider applicants with records. We do not employ, endorse, screen, or vouch for any employer, we cannot guarantee a listing is current, and we are not part of any hiring decision. Verify openings directly with the employer.
The app and website include links to companies offering credit monitoring and repair, checking accounts, and vehicle insurance. Some of these companies pay us a commission if you sign up through our link. This never increases your cost. A link is not an endorsement or advice. We are not a financial advisor, credit counselor, or licensed insurance producer, and we are not a credit repair organization.
We do not control these companies and are not responsible for their products, terms, fees, rates, decisions, conduct, or privacy practices. Read the terms before signing up for any financial product, and be especially careful with anyone who asks for money up front to fix your credit. Every link is optional. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
What you enter stays yours. We claim no ownership of your checklist, calendar, resume, documents, or applications. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service: to store your content, display it back to you, sync it across your devices if your tier includes that, and transmit the specific text required to fulfil an AI request you initiate. That permission ends when you delete your content or your account. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it.
Use the service to break the law or violate your conditions of release; access someone else’s account without permission; breach, overload, reverse engineer, or scrape the service; resell paid features; or upload malware or infringing content.
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. Devices fail, notifications get silenced by the operating system, and phones get lost. Do not rely on a push notification as your only record of a court date or a check-in.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. If we terminate your account other than for a violation, we will refund a recent purchase on a fair basis.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREE AND FORWARD LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS, DEADLINES, OR OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $50. Some states do not allow these limitations, so parts may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
