Why we built this
You walk out with a stack of papers. Somewhere in that stack is everything you're supposed to do. But a stack of papers isn't a plan — it's overwhelming from the first minute, and it doesn't tell you what comes first.
Then you're trying to hold all of it in your head at once. The job applications. The licenses and certifications. The appointments. The check-ins with your PO or your case manager. Things get lost — not because anyone stopped caring, but because you're carrying the most you've ever had to remember at the exact moment you have the least room to think.
We built Free and Forward because we knew that struggle personally, and we wanted to solve it instead of just describing it.
This was never about making money. It was about knowing the struggle and finding a solution.
That's why it's priced the way it is — one payment, kept as low as we could make it, no subscription draining an account that's already thin. Cost should never be the reason someone goes without this.

Every document you photograph — your ID, your birth certificate, your release paperwork — is stored on your own device. We don't upload it and we don't keep a copy.
Your checklist, calendar, resume and job history back up to your account, so a lost or replaced phone doesn't cost you everything — and so you can sign in from a computer. Photos of your documents are the exception: those never leave your phone, on any tier. Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and stored data is encrypted at rest.
No location tracking. No advertising trackers. No analytics profiling. We don't sell or share your personal information — not on any tier, not ever.
